Announcing the 2026 School Quality Cohort

Great Schools North Carolina is proud to announce the newest schools selected for our 2026 School Quality Cohort, an investment designed to strengthen leadership and the conditions that support high-quality public schools over time.

This year’s cohort includes Sallie B. Howard School of Arts & Science in Wilson and Reaching All Minds Academy (RAM Academy) in Durham. Each school will receive funding, coaching, and access to strategic partnerships to enhance leadership practices, align systems, and support continued growth.

At GSNC, we believe great schools are built through strong leadership, thoughtful planning, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The School Quality Cohort creates space for leaders to step back, reflect, and refine their schools proactively, so they can continue delivering a high-quality experience for students and families.
