Great Schools North Carolina Releases 2025 Annual Impact Report

Great Schools North Carolina has released its 2025 Annual Impact Report, highlighting a year of progress strengthening school leadership, supporting high-quality public schools, and expanding access to strong educational opportunities for students and families across North Carolina.

In 2025, GSNC deepened its support for leaders building and growing schools across the state through grants, leadership development, and targeted strategic training. These efforts help ensure schools are not only launched successfully, but built to deliver stable, high-quality learning environments where students can thrive. The report highlights key milestones across the network, including new schools opening, permanent facilities secured for schools, and the launch of GSNC’s first Founder’s Fellows cohort. Through this work, GSNC supported 7 leaders and schools, serving 4,000+ students statewide.

The report also reflects GSNC’s continued efforts to strengthen the broader education ecosystem through governance training, communications research, and national partnerships that bring new insights and best practices to school leaders across North Carolina, helping ensure more families can access public school options that meet their children’s needs.
