Shea is a career educator, school leader, and coach who is energized by bringing out the best in others. Before joining GSNC, she spent six years at Zeta Charter School in NYC as their Founding Principal, Leadership Coach, and Director of Talent. Prior to that, she was a Teacher, AP, and Founding Principal at Success Academy Charter School and spent time coaching school leaders as a consultant. Though she’s a born and bred New Yorker, she is excited to make an impact in her new home state.

Shea has an EdS from Jones International University, a MEd from Mercy College, and a BA from the Metropolitan College of NY. She lives in Charlotte with her husband, two kids, and dog. She loves to read, explore nature trails, and try new restaurants with her family.
