Reid’s career has spanned the public and private sectors, working initially as an investment banker, management consultant, and middle school math teacher. Feeling pulled to the impact he had in the classroom, Reid committed to a career in public education, serving as the COO of a charter school network in Los Angeles and, most recently, as the VP of Structured Finance at Charter School Growth Fund, helping schools solve their facilities and finance challenges. 

Reid has an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, an MA in Educational Leadership from the Broad Center, and a BA from Williams College. He lives in Charlottesville, VA with his wife and three children and enjoys playing tennis and being active outdoors.
